A long time coming

I know it has been quite a long time since I've posted on this blog, or on Youtube, for a very long time, but I'm hoping to get back into that. I've tried being part of a joint group known as Skill Tree Gaming, but unfortunately due to disagreements and a complete turn around from my partner, we no longer continue the channel. I would like to still include my partner from this channel, Blake, in my videos back on this blog and Youtube channel when the time comes. With Blake Skill Tree Gaming will feature other users in a linked set of separate Youtube channels. We have decided to change the name to Skill Tree Gamers. On this channel we will feature all of our videos from our separate channels and so we will in the end have one combined base channel. Each of my videos will be on this channel as well as my own and this blog.

As of right now, I plan on working independently on my videos. Also I have plans of working on my own time, when I want to rather then dedicating myself to certain times of the week or every day at that. I will try and post when I can and as often as I can, but I will not dedicate myself unless popularity truly strikes. I will try my best to make things enjoyable for any audience, but not completely run by the audience.

I will no longer post videos in the format I have previously. I will not be doing videos of computer games, but instead I will be sticking strictly to the Xbox One with the only exception being I use another person's computer for the recording. I will most likely not have full Let's Plays or walkthroughs tho I am not completely closed to the idea, but I will not be doing anything live with the exception of Twitch which I will get to later. Most of my videos will be singly discussing a topic while gameplay is being shown in the background. I will definitely refer to the gameplay, but I will have subjects pre-determined most of the time, and I will try to refer from doing reviews. Instead, I will discuss how much I like a game and talk about the positives of it, with slight regard of any problems that occur.

The final subject of my return will be that at some point in the future I would like to do live streaming to Twitch. I am doing all of this from the Xbox One which is why I will not be streaming quite yet. I will set the streams to port over to Youtube (at least I believe that is a feature from Twitch.tv) and those will be any live long videos I do. There are slight possibilities of me doing a podcast again with Blake or Magrum or any other person that could possibly be featured. I hope that you all had a good new year and are looking forward to a good 2014 of gaming and life.

Below I have a video-commentary talking about the above as well:
