I bought Minecraft and couple of days ago, and a lot of people think I'm wrong but I don't like it. It's just not my kind of game, I have played the xbox version, the pocket version, and the PC version. I am a fan of simple objectives that give you some freedom, but you have a task. And a lot of people have responded to that statement that Minecraft has a task, simply survive. I'm not saying this is a bad game, I love the ideas and everything put into it, but I simply don't care for it all too much. The same thing happened with Terraria, I don't like games that are just survive. The gameplay aspects are simple, which is why this game is just so original. The building blocks are easy, and once you design some complex structure you just feel proud. The graphics are what they are, simple blocks, just like how they were meant. I will say it is truly disappointing when you have an amazing time mining and some simple thing just kills you, but all in all, this is a great game, just don't expect me to play it.
