Halo 4 Majestic Map Pack Review

We are nearly 4 months past the launch of Halo 4. The 1st DLC launched, as well as the Spartan Ops Season 1 which recently ended last Monday. Where is the Halo universe now? Playing the new Majestic Map Pack.
So how are the maps? Are they worth the download? Are they good for objective or Slayer? How are they compared to other maps? Well they are most certainly worth the download. They bring in a more fresh edition to the variety, and they are enjoyable to play. Some feel like they are built for objective, 1 for free for all, and only parts of them feel like they are good for Slayer. The way these maps are set out didn't really stand out to me all that well. They kind of just are there. There is cover, there are vantage points, but there is no real spot for good gameplay. That doesn't mean the maps are bad, but I have yet to find out how these maps are supposed to be played.
Compared to other maps, I don't think these maps really make it to the top of my list. The first map pack really packed the action, as well set goals for future maps. These maps I don't feel really live up to those standards. One is small, one is a warehouse/factory map, and the other is a large complex. There are several pathways to take on each, but really they don't make it up there as the best.
The achievements (because everyone knows I'm and achievement hunter) are not all too difficult, but when it comes down to it they can be difficult. There are 10 new achievements, of that I have 7. Some are tedious, like kill 3 people while they are using jet pack, kill people while you are using active camo. They are really easy for multiplayer achievements (thank god) but there are some tricky ones such as assassinate someone who is zoomed in, air assassinate 5 people, and probably the most difficult, get a double kill with pulse grenades. Most of which are easy, and they just add some good gamerscore.
Do I love the maps? No, I like them, but they're not my favorites. Do I think they're worth it? Definitely. And one thing to note, they put a hornet (that old human flying thing from Halo 3) in. But don't get excited because it's just a backdrop because everyone knows that Halo is known for amazing back drops. It looks pretty sweet, get the map pack so you can look at it.
